How can I learn more about Robert Livingston's views?

Read Robert's web log, The Ishmael Factor, and a chapter excerpt from the book.

What is your view about how Muslims should be treated?

Books cannot cover all nuances and details of an issue. Although this book is strongly critical of radical Islam, it is important to realize: 1) I strongly oppose violence, harassment or even hostility toward Muslim people. I have Muslim friends and love Muslim people. 2) Jesus said we must, "love our neighbor as ourself" and "love our enemy". I embrace this teaching. 3) I understand and state in my book that there is a wide divergence of opinion among Muslims about what is proper Islam. 4) I understand and state in my book that some Muslims are truly in favor of basic civil rights and democratic principles and many oppose violence in the name of Islam. 5) I am tolerant in the original sense of the word. True tolerance doesn't mean believing in the absence of any absolute truth. True tolerance believes that others should be allowed to freely choose their beliefs and practice them without the fear of force or oppression or harassment from those who disagree. 6) I am a Christian with a Biblical Christian worldview. As such, I believe that views on absolute spiritual truth that diverge widely from the absolute claims of Jesus Christ (as found in the Bible) can be considered blasphemous.
